Today we review the 2011 model Sole F80 treadmill and see how it compares to other treadmills in it’s price range.

First Impressions

Folding the Sole F80 TreadmillWhen walking around the Sole F80 treadmill you just have to admire the modern design. For a treadmill under $1500 it sure does look the part when matched up with other treadmills that are in a higher price bracket.

The 2011 model Sole F80 has a fresh new look with a longer deck and a much better display compared to the 2010 model. The first things I look at when reviewing a treadmill is the design, size and console because first impressions always last. This model ticked all the boxes and I was actually quite impressed but the design is not the only thing I was impressed with.

Sole F80 Specs

Along with a professional and sleek design the new Sole F80 treadmill sure does pack a punch when reading and looking through the functions this treadmill can do. Let’s look at some specs and you will see what I mean.

Console Features And Workout Options

I really like the look of this console compared to the 2010 model. What’s different to the last model you may ask? Well the display screen is a lot bigger and much clearer to view being a 7.5-inch LCD display. This model comes with in-built speakers, which is all cool but in all honestly they are not the best quality speakers in the world( one of the very few bad points I found with the Sole F80 ).

There are two heart rate controlled workout options with this treadmill, and customizing the workout specifically to your needs is a breeze. Throughout the heart rate workouts, it will display a  graph for the desired heart rate zone on the screen and will adjust the incline to keep you in your target zone (the treadmill includes a wireless chest strap that touts a 99.9 percent accuracy rating). The remainder of the time, you can challenge yourself with the six automatic programs or two customizable programs.

Conclusion

This really is a great treadmill for any home with very few bad points I can truly say the Sole F80 is a real winner. The price is right and very affordable, you do get what you pay for and with this model I can say you get a little extra bang for your bucks. You just can’t beat the lifetime motor warranty and the 5 year warranty on frame, parts, and even labor.
